Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

In the course of operating the Website, and the Services, Wholier may collect (and/or receive) the following types of information. You authorize us to collect and/or receive such information.

  • Account Information: When you create an account (“Account”), you will provide information that could be personally-identifiable information (“Personal Information”), such as your name and email address. You acknowledge that by creating an account on the Services and providing Personal Information to us, you allow others, including us, to identify you. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services. You may unsubscribe from these messages through your Account settings, although we, regardless, reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for account recovery purposes.

  • User Content and Testimonials: Some features of the Services may allow you to provide content (“User Content”) to the Services, such as written comments and testimonials. All content submitted by you to the Services may be retained by us for as long as commercially necessary, even after you terminate your account. We may continue to disclose such content to third parties, as described in this Privacy Policy.

  • Billing Information: If you purchase products through the Services, your financial information, such as your credit card number, expiration date, security code, billing zip code and similar information (collectively, the “Billing Information”) is collected and stored by our third-party payment processing company (the “Third-Party Payment Processor”), and use and storage of that information is governed by the Third-Party Payment Processor’s applicable terms of use and privacy policy. We use Stripe as our Payment Processor (www.stripe.com). In order to facilitate your order transactions, we collect and store your credit card expiration date and the last four digits of your credit card number, but no other financial information.

  • Shipping Information: When you order products using the Services, we request and store your shipping information (“Shipping Information”). We share this information with our Third-Party Payment Processor, fulfillment companies, partners and other third parties for purposes of customer service and order fulfillment. Use of your information by such parties is governed by their respective privacy policies.

  • Other Information Collected Automatically: In an ongoing effort to improve the Website and the Services, we automatically collect certain information (“Other Information”) when Visitors visit the Website, and when Customers use the Services. Such information includes, without limitation, your Internet Protocol (IP) address (the number automatically assigned to your computer whenever you access the Internet and that can sometimes be used to derive your general geographic area), geolocation information, browser type and language, operating system, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Website Visitors visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Services.

  • Cookies: We collect information using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to help us collect Other Information and to enhance your experience using the Services. If you do not want us to place a cookie on your hard drive, you may be able to turn that feature off on your computer or mobile device. Please consult your Internet browser’s documentation for information on how to do this and how to delete persistent cookies. However, if you decide not to accept cookies from us, the Services may not function properly.

This Privacy Policy covers our use of cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties. We do not control when or how third parties place cookies on your computer. For example, third-party websites to which a link points may set cookies on your computer.

  • Pixel Tags Or Beacons: In addition to cookies, we also collect Aggregate Information (defined below) through the use of “tracking pixels,” also known as “beacons.” A tracking pixel is a transparent graphic image that is placed on a web page and, in combination with a cookie, allows for the collection of information regarding the use of the web page that contains the tracking pixel. We use tracking pixels to tell when an advertisement has been clicked on or otherwise interacted with, and use that information to judge which advertisements are more appealing to users. In some cases, we use third-party service providers to help us collect and analyze this information. You can also generally opt-out of receiving personalized ads from third-party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance's Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out pages on the NAI website and DAA website.

  • Third-Party Analytics: We may use one or more third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to evaluate your use of the Services, compile reports on activity, collect demographic data, analyze performance metrics, and collect and evaluate other information relating to the Services and mobile and Internet usage. These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide us the data. By accessing and using the Services, you consent to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. The third parties we currently work with are those listed below. These third parties may change from time to time, but in each case we will provide you with the links to view these organizations' privacy policies and find out more about what data they hold about you, what they do with it, and how to opt-out from certain data collection. Please be advised that if you opt out of any service, you may not be able to use the full functionality of the Website, and the Services.

  • Third-Party Advertising Companies: We may share, or we may permit third-party online advertising networks, social media companies and other third-party services, to collect, information about your use of our Website over time so that they may play or display ads on our Website, on other devices you may use, and on other websites, apps or services, including on Facebook. It is important to note, however, that we do not share any of your Personal Information with these parties. These third parties may use cookies, pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs), and/or other technologies to collect this non-personally identifiable information for such purposes. Pixel tags enable us, and these third-party advertisers, to recognize a browser’s cookie when a browser visits the site on which the pixel tag is located in order to learn which advertisement brings a user to a given site. You may opt-out of the tailoring of advertising based on information we collect. To learn more about interest-based advertising and how you may be able to opt-out of some of this advertising, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s online resources, at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices, and/or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s resources atwww.aboutads.info/choices, and you may also adjust your ad preferences through your Facebook settings. These opt-out tools are provided by third parties. We do not control or operate these tools or the choices that advertisers and others provide through these tools.

  • Email Communications: We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. We use this confirmation to improve our customer service. In order to improve and provide the Services, we may also track your usage of and interaction with our emails, such as opens and clicks.  If you do not want us to send you marketing or promotional email communications, you can opt-out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any such promotional emails, checking the relevant box located on the form on which we collect your data or emailing us at hello@livewholier.com.
